“For An Army Of Gentle Men” is a call for the construction of a softer, more sensitive sort of man and, as a result, for a more gentle & livable world
These photographs are a study of gentle masculine gestures & attitudes. They were made in collaboration with men I met randomly. During the photo session, I encouraged them to prevent from performing masculinity in a confrontational or restrained way, to let go of their usual self-control and to allow themselves to be sensitive, relaxed or even vulnerable.
